Potential Missed Doses / Billings Report
The Potential Missed Doses / Billings report lists all patients who missed a methadone dose. This report only displays the patient's first missed dose on or before the current date of when the report is generated.
If a patient misses a methadone dose on the date the report is generated - i.e. March 4 - the report shows the missed dose on March 4.
If a patient misses a methadone dose on April 8 and 9, the report generated on or after these dates display the first missed dose = April 8.
If a patient misses a methadone dose on April 8, receives a dose on April 9, and misses another dose on April 10, the report generated on or after these dates display the first missed dose in this sequence = April 8.
Pharmacies should inform the physician if a patient has missed a dose. Any doses not picked up by the end of the day should be cancelled and documented as a missed dose. If cancelling multiple doses for the same patient, claims should be cancelled from newest to oldest.
To generate the Potential Missed Doses / Billings report, the following requirements must be met:

The patient must be linked to the Methadone Condition.
Linking the Methadone Condition to the Patient

Open the Patient Folder.

Select the Clinical tab.

Under Clinical Information, select Add.

In the Medical Condition Search window, enter 'methadone' in the Description field.

Select Search.
-
Highlight the Methadone condition type in the search results.

Select OK.

Select Yes to the DUR alert.

In the Reported By field, select Physician. The remaining fields are optional.

Select Save.
There is no customizable criteria for this report. The generation date is used by default to retrieve the list of patients who missed a dose on or before this date.
To generate the report:

Select > Reports.

Select the Potential Missed Doses / Billings report.

Select Preview.
