Potential Missed Doses / Billings Report

The Potential Missed Doses / Billings report lists all patients who missed a methadone dose. This report only displays the patient's first missed dose on or before the current date of when the report is generated.

If a patient misses a methadone dose on the date the report is generated - i.e. March 4 - the report shows the missed dose on March 4.

If a patient misses a methadone dose on April 8 and 9, the report generated on or after these dates display the first missed dose = April 8.

If a patient misses a methadone dose on April 8, receives a dose on April 9, and misses another dose on April 10, the report generated on or after these dates display the first missed dose in this sequence = April 8.

Pharmacies should inform the physician if a patient has missed a dose. Any doses not picked up by the end of the day should be cancelled and documented as a missed dose. If cancelling multiple doses for the same patient, claims should be cancelled from newest to oldest.
